Hear African Socialist International Chairman Omali Yeshitela's presentations at two community events in St. Petersburg, Florida. The first was the January 14, 2012 "Grand Re-opening" of the TyRon Lewis Community Gym, a self-reliance institution of the Uhuru Movement. The second took place during a January 29, 2012 forum at the Uhuru House, entitled "Police Gone Wild" addressing the current escalation of harassment, brutality and murder carried out by the "Street Crimes Unit" against African people in St. Petersburg, including the January beating death of 42-year-old Tony Welch.
