From Oct. 27 - 30, 2010, members of St. Petersburg's Council of Neighborhood Association exchanged a series of emails on their internal listserve that revealed the racist and pro-gentrification agenda of many of their leading members. On Wednesday, December 8, the Uhuru Solidarity Movement held an event to mobilize support from the white community for black community economic development and social justice. Today's program provides a report on this issue, with audio excerpts from the presentations by Chimurenga Waller, Mwamba Yeshitela, and Penny Hess.
