Black Panther Chairman Fred Hampton was assassinated in Chicago, Illinois on December 4, 1969. Hear African Socialist International Chairman Omali Yeshitela speak to a community meeting at the Uhuru House in St. Petersburg, Florida on December 11, 2011, commemorating the life and work of Hampton. Chairman Omali also responds to questions from the audience about the ongoing U.S. war on the African community and the growing movement to win liberation for African people.
